I love Christmas, don’t get me wrong, but historians are pretty sure Jesus wasn’t born in December. Jesus was born in either August or September. Over the years with revisions/conversions of calendars have resulted in confusion over the date. The hierarchy in the Catholic Church set the date as December 25th because it was the same date of a large Pagan holiday, thus making conversion to Christianity less frightening/easier.
